About
A short note on what we do.
Stashed Deals is a curator's archive for retail deals. We log products, prices, retailers, and timestamps so the savings claim on every card is checkable against a real history, not a marketing one. We sort through retailer feeds, drop the deals that look like noise, and keep what survives editorial review.
We are not a coupon site, an alarm-bell deal feed, or an SEO arbitrage page. We are an archivist that points at savings.
Editorial discipline
- We log before we monetize. Every deal we surface earned its place on price-history, retailer presence, and category fit. Commission terms are not a scoring input.
- We do not run paid placements. No retailer pays for tier position. The tier ladder (blazing / hot / warm / fair) is a curation device, not a transaction.
- We correct when prices move. Retailers change prices daily. If our timestamp drifts too far from the live price, we update the page rather than letting the published version drift.
- We cite the retailer. The retailer holds the inventory, the price, the warranty, and the customer service. We are an editorial layer that points at things; the buying happens with them.
What this archive is not
- Not a coupon site. We do not chase promo codes, bonus stacking, or paid newsletter referrals. The cards are dated archive entries, not deals of the day.
- Not a community feed. No upvote chrome, no thread comments, no community heat indicators. Curation is a single tier pill per card, applied editorially.
- Not a deal-of-the-day countdown. No fake urgency timers, no exclamation marks. The dateline strip carries the live trust signal with falsifiable counters.
